FieldRF is a professional RF field engineering tool developed by Irvin Pedraza. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the FieldRF mobile application.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and company name. This is stored securely in Firebase Authentication.
Location Data: GPS coordinates are captured only when you explicitly start a report or request location services. Location data is embedded in your field reports and is never shared without your consent.
Photos: Photos taken within the app are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server.
Field Reports: All report data (site IDs, measurements, notes) is stored locally using SQLite on your device.
We do not collect analytics, behavioral tracking, advertising identifiers, or any data that could be used to identify you beyond your account credentials. FieldRF contains no ads and no third-party tracking SDKs.
FieldRF requests ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permissions for the following purposes only:
Location is never accessed in the background.
Account authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). Your password is never stored by FieldRF directly. All Firebase communications use HTTPS encryption.
Local data stored on your device is protected by Android's standard application sandboxing.
You have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated information at any time directly from the app.
FieldRF is intended for professional use by RF field engineers and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
